Sunday the 4th will be hands-on with live fire evolutionsThe New England FOOLS are headed to Southern New England, and we’re bringing the Charter Oak FOOLS from CT with us.

We all go to fires, some more often than others. This weekend will provide firefighters with hands-on evolutions of engine and truck company techniques for the type of fires we go to most often, specifically designed for the reality of our short-staffed crews.

Saturday skill evolutions will include hose stretches, hoseline handling operations, hose movement to upper and lower floors, ground ladders, search techniques, ventilation/roof operations, vent-enter-search techniques.

During the Sunday scenarios attendees will work as operating companies under live fire conditions to practice skills and techniques learned and discussed earlier in the weekend.

If you’ve never experienced a FOOLS class, now is the time before the holidays kick in.

Join us. Hone your craft. Reignite your passion for the fire service.
