The New England FOOLS along with Tamworth Fire/Rescue are proud to deliver a weekend of hands-on auto extrication that will provide personnel with an in-depth description of vehicle construction and components of new vehicle technology, scene safety, vehicle stabilization with multiple devices, lifting operations, electric and hydraulic tool operations.
Evolutions will consist of various airbag and cribbing evolutions, stabilization and extrication of vehicles on their roofs and sides, under-ride and over-ride evolutions, tunneling, third door evolutions, and multiple advanced scenarios such as ‘confined space extrication’.
Program will be a Saturday morning lecture on October 13, 2018 at Tamworth Fire/Rescue 132 Chinook Trail in Tamworth. Hands-on evolutions will be in the afternoon on October 13, 2018 and all-day Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Ricker Auto Salvage, 112 Maple St in Tamworth.
Program cost is $165 for non-FOOLS members, $150 for FOOLS members.
EMS credits are be being applied for.
