New England FOOLS to Raffle Off Helmet Signed by President George W. Bush
Authentic Signed Fire Helmet Up for Grabs — Only 300 Tickets to be Sold
GEORGETOWN — The New England Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society (FOOLS) Chapter President Rusty Ricker is pleased to announce that the organization will be raffling off a fire helmet signed by the 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush.
The signed Phenix TC-1 helmet is adorned with a one-of-a-kind hand painted Presidential helmet front and will be raffled off for $25 per ticket. There will only be 300 tickets sold and all proceeds will go toward future funding for FOOLS’ affordable, quality training events in New England.
“We love being able to help out our brother and sister firefighters in New England,” President Ricker said. “We’re hoping this one-of-a-kind raffle will help us fund some of the future events and training we provide for local firefighters.”
Tickets will be sold until the last ticket is purchased and the winner will be notified shortly thereafter. Tickets can be purchased via PayPal to NewEnglandFOOLSPresident@gmail.com or by mailing a check to New England FOOLS Inc. to P.O. Box 109, Georgetown, MA 01833.
Started in 1995, the FOOLS organization is dedicated to supporting firefighters through discounted or free training, fundraisers, charity events and more. The organization has grown to over 7,000 members in chapters all over the world. The New England chapter was founded in 2003 and is comprised of hundreds of firefighters from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Maine.
