The Host Hotel for the 2009 FOOLS International Convention has been chosen, the contract is signed, and its time to start filling up the joint.
The Anchorage Inn, http://www.AnchorageInn.com, on Long Sands Beach in York is our host hotel. They have blocked off rooms for us, the 2nd and 3rd floors of their Atrium building, with plenty of room for explansion in the Main building of the hotel.
Rates in the Atrium are $152 a night for a queen sized bed and $172 for 2 double beds. Main building are $147 for a queen and $162 for two doubles. The atrium will be filled up first, it has a pool down the middle of building on floor 1.
There are suites available in the Main Building for those who might like to sleep together. Rates are between $273 and $323 depending on which floor you're on.
For those who might see this as a second (or first) honeymoon, there are suites available in their new building for $3-500 a night.
You need to call the Anchorage to book your rooms, let them know that you are with the New England FOOLS.
